Invite the Mayor

Guidelines

  1. Please list information pertaining to the occasion and why it is important that the Mayor attend.
  2. Is the Mayor expected to make comments?
  3. If so, should the Mayor recognize a particular person at the event? If so, who and why.
  4. Will the media play a role in the event? If so, how will the event be covered?
  5. Please provide an agenda of the event and any information relevant to the Mayor’s comments.

Concerning your request

  1. Please schedule 4-8 weeks in advance of your event.
  2. We will notify you as soon as possible in regard to your request. You will receive a notice within at least two weeks that will inform you of Mayor Becker’s availability to attend your event.
  3. Please understand that Mayor Becker’s schedule is subject to change.
  4. Typically, Mayor Becker prefers to attend functions within Salt Lake City unless circumstances permit him to do otherwise.
