Projects
Salt Lake Solutions projects follow this process:
- A project (problem or opportunity) is identified that meets one or more
Community Objectives and would benefit from broad public and private sector cooperation.
- Mayor Ralph Becker, acting as convener, appoints a
neutral community convener to lead the Salt Lake Solutions Partners Team.
- The Salt Lake Solutions
Partners Team is created to include community, government, business and non-profit organizations who can contribute time and resources to the project.
- Using
collaborative decision-making principles, the Salt Lake Solutions Partners Team creates a
workable solution to the problem or opportunity. The Solutions Partners Team will leverage public and private resources to undertake the project.
- A Partnering Agreement is signed outlining each Salt Lake Solutions Partner’s individual commitments to the project, as well as a project timeline.
